The parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Peter De Boer of Boyden and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Van Ommeren of Orange City. Rev. Henry Scltoon performed the double ring ceremony.The altar was decorated with baskets of pink gladioli, white porn poms and candelabra.Tise bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a bridal gown fashioned of silk organza and imported rose point lace over mist taffeta. The slim bodice was styled with a demi-scoop neckline overlaid with lace, jewelled with pearl seedlings and irrldescents. “ThevM vtmlt;u«»\vNn» ml ^ TASTKS * *Enjoy Squirt...the drink for grownup tastes. Knife pleating at*the waistline detailed the voluminous floor length skin which featured a belled silhouette accented by garlands of jewelled lace down the front panel and flowed into a chapel train.The fingertip veil of imported silk illusion was caught to a crown of luce, embellished with jewels. The bride carried i bovxjuet of pom poms and steph-anotls arranged around an orchid. Her jewelry was a single strand of pearls and pearl earrings. a gift of the groom.Mrs. John R. Hollander was her sister’s matron of honor. Mrs. John Dooretibos, also a sister of the bride, served as bridesmaid. They were gowned in shell pink crystal charm gowns styled with ricmi-scoop necklines and brief sleeves. Knife pleating detailed the corned cocktail length skirts, they wore matching flower headbands and carried bouquets of white pom poms arranged on lace fans.Miss Ruth De Beer and Miss Dec Fe Slaa, both friends of the bride, were candlelightcrs. They wore gowns identical to the attendants and wristlets of pink and white carnations.Roger Van Ommeren of Madison, Wisconsin was his brother's bcstman. Vernon Van Ommeren. also a brother of the groom, was groomsman, and served as an usher with Harold De Boer of Boyden. brother of the bride. All men in the wedding party’ wore black tuxedoes and sprayed pink carnations.Mrs. Scott Snellcr was organist and accompanied the bride as she sang At Dawning” and George Genant as he sang Each for the Other” before the ceremony and Wedding Prayer during the ceremony.Mrs. L. V. Grooters was the bride’s personal attendant. Linda Van Ommeren was the guest registrar.A reception was held immediately alter the ceremony with Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Ren-sink acting as dining room host and hostess. Mrs. Paul Saupe and Mrs. Jim Koerselmanserved the punch. Mrs. Harold De Boer poured the coffee, and Mrs. Gene Seymour and Mrs. Vernon Van Ommeren cut the wedding cake.The gifts, carried by Virgil Van Ommeren and DwayneDoorenbos were displayed by Mrs. Don Van Horssen, Miss Lois Kroon, and Miss Audrey Krcon. Waitresses were Fay Siderius, head waitress. Cathy Kruelcn. Sandra Ten Haken,Mary Jean Slothouber, Kathlynn Ellen Sal-Zuiderhoi, and Mary mom Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Smith and Mr. and Mrs. John Sitters catered.At the reception the bride and groom were given a welcome by Leura. LuAnnc. and LaDonn Genant. followed by remarks from Dr. R. Van Heukelom and prayer byDr.HenryColenbran-der.The mothers of the bride and groom wore ravy blue dresses with white accessories and orchid corsages.For her going away outfit the bride wore a two piece pink dress trimmed with white lace and white accessories.After a wedding trip co Ontario.
