Dorothy Nell Newman,Joe Forrest Rogers Marry ThursdayDorothy Neil Newman and Joe Forrest Rogers were married Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the county judge’s office with Judge: Grover C. Poole performing the cere- ! mony. jTile bride wore white with white j accessories.Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Loys Newman.After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Rogers left on a wedding trip before going to Alpine to make their home.Mrs. Rogers is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. I B. Newman of Carta Valley.Mr. Rogers is the son of Mrs. Edith Rogers of Alpine. He served in the European Theatre of operations for 23 months and earned the Purple Heart and cluster, having been wounded twice.
