Vacation School Program Tonight The Baptist church vacation school picnic was held today with each person taking lunch, and ice cream and drinks were furnished. The children left the church when classes were dismissed and they re turned about 2 o'clock. The picnic was for all boys and girls who were regularly enrolled in the school whether they have been present for both weeks or only one. This evening a public program and display of the school work will be presented at the Baptist church at 7.15 o'clock. Each department of the school will have part in the program which will last about an hour and work of the school will be on display. The parents and friends of those attending and any Morgan- Brown were married May 5 by Justice of the Peace John A. Laughlin. The couple are making their home in Adams. Double Shower Twenty-six members of the office force of the Gale Shoe Co. of North Adams gave a shower last evening in honor of Miss Doris Lamoureaux and Miss Margaret Kidney at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John LeRoy of Church street. At 7 o'clock, a turkey dinner was served by the hos tess, Mrs. John LeRoy, who was as sisted by her two daughters, Peg sy and Shirley. Miss Lamoureaux received a beautiful set of furniture and Miss Kidney a miscellaneous shower. In the evening refresh ments were served and games were enjoyed by all. Miss Lamoureaux is to be wed to Earl Donovan and Mrss Kidney to Paul Genest in the near future. Local and Personal Thomas Lyons is making exten sive repairs at his home on East Main street. Mrs. Elizabeth Curtis has from a several weeks’ visit with rel atives in Catskill and Kingston. N. Miss Ernestine Young of Leicester has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. George F. Korn. William Sederlund of Springfield has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Prederick Westphal. [have € 0N] to Adams to Make their home Miss Edythe Marone is spending a week's vacation at Hampton Beach, N. H. Mrs. Anna Lally of Greenwich, CI. 8 spending two weeks With her sister, Mrs. Julia McDonald, of Prospect street. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Geroux have left for a week's stay at Old Or chard Reach. Me.
