The ceremony was held at 12 Noon with Msgr. Breines officiating.The bride’s gown was a white organza with long Chantilly lace sleeves, a Victorian neckline with lace and pearls. Her chapel length train with Chantilly and organza tiers accented the skirt. Her wreath headpiece was made of organza flower petals with .lusters of pearls and pearl pips. The double tiered puff fingertip illusion veil had a scalloped edge with pearls following the scallops.She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses, stephanotis, asparagus ferns and forget-me-nots.Linda Hellenbrand, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor in a pink gown of taffeta with off the shoulder bodice andruffled back brush train accented by a bustle. Vera Laufenberg, sister of the groom, Marilyn Hellenbrand, Jerrily Hellenbrand and Karen Swason, friends of the bride, wore gowns identical to the matron of honor in apricot, yellow, orchid and blue. They carried baskets of daisies, baby’s breath and asparagus fern.Pete Karls, friend of the groom, served as best man. Paul Laufenberg, brother of the groom, Larry Wagner, brother of the bride, Mark Thornton and Ron Pfeil, friends of the groom, served as groomsmen. Fred Laufenberg, Randy Adler, Gary Wagner and Roger Wagner were ushers.A reception and dance was held at the Hofbrau Haus, Waunakee.Nancy is employed by Mid-Plains Telephone Company. John is a painter.After spending several days at La Crosse the couple is residing in Waunakee.
