Arch Street church is settingMiss Donna Lynn Mefford and James Juristy were married at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14 at the Arch Street Church of God. The Rev. Richard Kennedy performed the double ring ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mrand Mrs. Dane E. Mefford Sr. ofPennsylvania Avenue, Westover She is a June graduate of University High School where she belonged to the Choir and Glee Club She is also a member of the church choir.Mr. Juristy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Juristy of Jere. He is also a graduate of UHS and served four years with the Navy. He is employed with Rockwell Inc., and is affiliated with the Arch StreetMR. AND MRS. JAMES JURISTYChurch of God as a street minister.The bride wore a white scalloped ruffled Chantilace gown of French design featuring a Sabrina neckline and long fitted sleeves. The gown was accented with sequins as was thematehini? waistlenth veil. Shecarried her Mother’s Bible topped by a bouquet of white roses and baby’s breath Her only jewelry was a gold cross given to her by the bridegroom.Miss Anita Hawkins served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Miss Sharon Mayfield, Miss Becky Hawkins and Miss Debbie Moore. Miss Kimmy Mefford, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.The attendants wore formal gowns in rainbow colors and matching picture hats. They carried bouquets of carnations tinted to match theirgowns.Basil (Butch) Slaughter was best man. Ushers were Roger Barker,cousin of the bride Skippy Whiteand Michael Blosser.
