Miss Erma Smith Weds Emil TomashMiss Erma Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hay Smith, became the bridie of Mr. Emil Tomas, son of Mrs. Anna, Toman- at Davenport Wednesday, July 17. The double ring ceremony was read by Rev. Alfred Nickless at 10 o'clock.The young: couple were attended by Miss Charlotte Smith as bridesmaid, and Mr, beo Tomas as best man with Charlotte Mae Terrell a» flower girl.The bride wore a dress of white net over satin and carried an arm bouquet of white lilies and baby breath. The bridesmaid wore a peach colored- satin dress and carried talisman roses and baby breath.Guests at the wedding: were Mr. and ( Mrs. Ray Smith and daughter, Helen} Jean and Mrs. bottle irwin, grandmother of the bride.A wedding supper was servedt to 40 guests at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The large wedding cake decorated in peach and white centered the bride* table.Following a wedding* trip in northern Iowa ana Minnesota the youn'g couple will be at home on a farm near Oxford.* wedding* dance was enjoyed at thlt;* Swisher pavilion Wednesday evening.
