Charles DeHaven officiated at the 7 p.m. vows.Gerald Webb and Nancy Cobb were vocalists and Ada Sweet was organist for the ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Scharringhausen of Cibolo and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George C. Horton ofhouston.%Escorted by her father, the bride wore a satin gown with a cathedral-length train. The close-fitting bodice with basque waistline and long, tapered sleeves featured a stand-up collar of schiffli lace and a front and back illusion yoke. The gown was trimmed with pearls and sequins.The bride carried a free form cascading bouquet of rubrum lilies, snowflake pompoms, Star of Bethlehem, and freesia, backed with green i vy.Matron of honor was Melissa Griesbach, sister of the bride, of Austin. Bridesmaids were Lee Ann Stella of San Antonio, Karen Leuty of Austin, and Darlene Horton of San Antonio.Attendants wore hot pink and whiteMr. and Mrs. George Hortondresses. Brandy snifters holding statice clustered in baby’s breath en-lighted candles lit the way for atten- circled the bases of the globes, dants. Pink pixie carnations and Flower girl was Kate Campos,daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raoul Campos.Best man was David Horton, brother of the groom, of San Antonio. Groomsmen were A1 Garcia of Atlanta, David Crafton of Knoxville, Tenn., and Gregg Bomkamp of Waco.Ushers were Sam Campos, A1 Gar-cia, David Crafton, Gregg Bomkamp, Brandon Sass and Scott Sass.Acolytes were Brandon Sass and Scott Sass, twin cousins to the bride.Following the ceremony, a reception and dance were held at Nor-thcliffe Country Club. Decorations included hot pink and white balloons. Table decorations were mirrored candles with hurricane globes surrounded by hot pink potpourri.sisting in serving were Catherine Meyer, Melinda Wallace,and Kristi Pope.After a wedding trip to the Cayman Islands, the couple will live in Houston. The groom is employed by Gulf States Toyota in Houston and the bride is employed by Jersey Village High School in Houston.Mr. and Mrs. George C. Horton hosted the rehearsal supper at the Langston House.
