Marquardt pronounced the wedding vowsThe bride was given in marriage by her father ami wore a white nylon organza gown with dainty white lace daisies to accent the stand-up collar, front panel and sheer lantern sleeves Her flowing full skirt fell from an empire bodice. A headband of white daisies was attached to an illusion veil accented with daisies. She carried a bouquet of blue and white carnations and pink roses accented with baby's breath and stephanotis.Mrs. Robert Klfrink. the bride's sister from California, was her matron of honor ami Miss Sheryl Wilcoxon, the groom's sister from Cherokee was the bridesmaid. Each was attired in a blue and whitechifffon gown with tiny bowstrimming the waistline. Ruffled lace and rosettes accented the bodice and collar.The flower girl was MissBarbra Mertens, cousin of the groom from Sioux City.The couple’s best man was Iarry Jorgensen, the groom's cousin from Paullina. Groomsman was Dick Cave ofCherokee.Guests were ushered bv BarrvWhitehill of Humboldt and Don Farquhar of Spencer.Ned Klfrink, the bride's newphew from California, was the ringbearer.Mrs. Alice Fintel of Paullina was the soloist. Accompanist was Mary Kischen at the organ.A reception was held in the church following the ceremony.Miss Heath was graduated from Washington High School in Cherokee in 1973, The groom was a 1972 graduate of Washington High School and is attending Sheldon Vocational School.Afton NewsThe Kastside Birthday Club observed the birthday of Mrs. Carol Fredrickson last Tuesday afternoon. The same group with their husbands and families joined the Fredricksons in celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary with a picnic dinner at Dog Creek park near Sutherland on Saturday. The honorees were presented a gift by the group.Mr and Mrs. Harold ftngel of Watertown. Wis., visited relatives here recently.Mr and Mrs. Harry Anderson entertained Mr. and Mrs. Dean Loucks of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ixucks of Chattanooga, Tenn. at dinner Sunday evening. Included in the courtesy were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Loucks.
