Hopaluk-Golding Vows PledgedOn Friday* July 12 at 2 p.m., St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church was the scene of a very pretty wedding, at which Miss June Golding pledged vows of marriage with Mr. Jack James Hop-aluk.Rev. MacPherson officiated for the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ash-ton Golding and the youngest son of Mrs. Hopaluk and the late Mr, Hop-aluk, all of Wain wright*Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was lovely in a cocktail-length gown of nylon net and lace. A bandeau of net Interwoven with seed pearls held her finger-tip veil of soft French illusion. Her jewellery was a strand of pearls, a gift of the groom, and a gold bracelet, an heirloom of her grandmother. She carried a white bible surmounted with red sweetheart rosea.Misses Norma and Betty Golding were their sister's bridsmaids, and were dressed In Identical gowns of blue j and pink respectively. Their coektail-length gowns were of nylon net and lace, and each wore a matching bandeau of ruffled nylon tulle. Each carried a nosegay of mixed flowers.The groom was supported by Messrs. Teddy and Barry Anderson, and ushering the guests were Mr. Timmy Golding, brother of the bride, and Mr. Reg r( Golding, cousin of the bride.Mrs. Della Rattray was the organist.For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Golding wore a beige dress with match ^ ing duster coat, with White accessories, ^ and her corsage was of white carnat- ^ ions. The groom’s mother chose a beige ] floral nylon dress with beige accessor- ] ies, and her corsage was also of white ] carnations.A buffet reception for 75 guests was 1 held later at the home of the bride’s 1 parents. The bride's table, was covered ] with a white linen tablecloth, centred by a three-tiered wedding cake decorated In white for the occasion, flanked by slender white tapers and roses. Rev. MacPherson proposed the toast to the bride, to which the groom ably responded.Lorraine Savard was in charge of the guest book.Following the reception, the young couple entertained their friends with ( a dance at the Gilt Edge Hall.The happy couple left later for a short honeymoon, before leaving to make their home Jn Detroit, Michigan.Out of town guests at the wedding werei Mr. and Mrs. Don Forrest of Lloydminster; Mr. and Mrs. Zalen, and Mr, and Mrs. G.
