All Saints’ Church, Tuwm, was the scene of a very pretty and interesting wedding to the many spectators and friends ot the young couple whose marriage was celebrated—Mr’ Leslie Franklin. third son of Mr. Thos. Frank -liu. of Briiidahella, and Miss L. B. V. Bridle (Trixie), third daughter oi Mr. W. H. Bridle, ot Tumul. Rev. W. D. Kennedy was the cele: brant. The church was tastefully decorated for the occasion by a few lady friends of the bride, a laurel arch, from which an artistically designed wedding liell was suspended, forming the chief feature. The choir was in attendance, and touchingly rendered the hymn. ” The voice that breathed o'er Hdeu.” as the bridal party entered the sacrtd edifice. The bride, who was given away by her father, looxed charmingly pretty in a daintily simple gown oi white silK, with tucked yoke and oversleeves oi chillon and touches oi white and silver sequm applique about the bodice. She wore the customary wreath and long veil ot white tulle (the latter having lieen her mother's), and carried a handsome shower bouquet of white roses, hyacinths, lilies ol the valley and ferns As the party re-entered the church from the vestry alter the ceremony. Mendelssohn's '‘Wedding March was played on the organ by Miss Kennedy. The bride was attended by four maids, the ciitef being Miss J£. R. Bridle, and the others Misses Franklin, Jessie Bridle and Ruby Franklin. Miss Bridle was attired in a becoming costume got vieux rose cloth, with yoKe aim sleeves ol cream spotted net over silk, trimmings of Oriental applique and tassels, pleated skirt and mushroom hat the same shade as the dress, with wreath ol flowers. .She and Miss Franklin , carried beautiful showei boquets of roses, hyacinths, autumn leaves anil asparagus urns. These, as well a.-' the bride's boquet, were procured from Snarl's (.Sydney/, and were (gilts trom the bridegroom. Miss Franklin was stylishly dressed in cream cloth, yoke and sleeves ot allover lace, embroidered pale piult; and olue, white and silver bail triage trimmings and touches ol moss green velvet, cream hat trimmed with cream ostrich leathers and moss green silk rosette. Miss Jessie Bridle wore pale green cashmere, crossover blouse, tucked cream net iron’, trimmed witbjbell lace, padded with palest pmk siIk, pleated skirt, cream hat to match, aud carried a silver wand with trails ot pale grceu ribbon, asparagus lerus and violets, Misn Ruby FrauKlm was gowned in cream cloth, guipure tront, wiih cream and silver iringe trimmiugs, wore vieux rose bat with tulle rosette and cream drenched feathers. She also carried a wand similar to that described above. Mr George Franklin acted ar. best man and the following gentlemen as groomsmen. Messrs. Les. Bridle, Raymond Larape (cousins ol the bride) aud \V. G. Bridle (,brother). Ou leaving the church the happy couple were showered with confetti ami rice and received the good wishes and congratulations ironi large number oi their friends present. The wedding party, driven m Mr. VV. liureU's large drag drawn by lour white horses, were tollowed to the Temperance Flail, where a reception was held by Mr. \Y. H. and Miss Bridle. After the company had been photographed, an adjournment was made to the supper room, which had been specially decorated lor the occasion. the table was placed augiewise across the room. The chandelier over the centre ol the table was a perfect mass ol smilax, white roses aud ferns, immediately underneath which on the table was a three-decker wedding cake made by the bride’s sister. Violets (the bride's favorite flowers) were in abuud-ance.and the decorations were much admired by those assembled. She also wore a haudsome set of furs (gift from the mother of the bridegroom). The bridegroom's present to the bride was u diamond baugie, nun to the bridesmaids ruby and pearl brocohu* and pendants.
