Miss Elsa Maria Nunez of Lima has chosen her sister, Liliana, to be her maid of honor Saturday when she weds James Gene Salerno. Vows will be exchanged at 1:30 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Niles. Bridesmaids will be another sister, Ana Elena; groom’s sister, Judith; Miss Jane Thomas, bride’s roommate at Hiram College; Miss Mer cedes Garcia, Lima; and Miss Renate Metcalf, sorority sis ter at Hiram. Lourdes Guernica, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Eduardo A. Guernica of Lima, will be flower girl. Romeo Salerno will be best man for his brother and ushers will be another brother, Robert; a cousin, Thomas Salerno;William Hoffer, Niles; bride’s brother, Pedro; and George Ehrhart, Hiram College roommate. Rigoberto Nunez will escort his sister to the altar for the open church ceremony. Elsa is daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Rigoberto A. Nunez of Lima and James is son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Salerno of Niles.
