Engagement Plans ToldThe engagement of Miss Melinda Jane Scoggin to Sammie Wayne Jones is announced by her parents, Mr.and Mrs. Mack Scoggin. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Mr.and Mrs. S. W. Jones, also of Amarillo.The bride -elect graduated from Tascosa High School and has attended Amarillo College and North Texas State University in Denton.Jones, a Tascosa graduate,attends West Texas State University where he is majoring in marketing and is presently employed with the Community Finance and Thrift Corporation.Wedding ceremony is scheduled for August 22 in Paramount Terrace Christian Church.
