WILSON TANNER COUPRandol Wilson and Miss Kathrynrn . .Vv1 anner Married at New Madrid Monday Afternoon.Randol Wil son, not quite 1«, and Miss Katheryn Tanner, aged 1H, were married at Newrid Monday afternoon, Chas. I and ley and Miss Ettie Graham being witnesses. Randol and Miss Katheryn liave been sweet hearts for the oast two years but nothing serious was thought of the courtship owing to their ages. When the news was givenout Tuesday morning that the couple had married to say that it created a Hurry among the young l»eople of Sikeston is stating it mildly, and with the older peo* ple and to tin* parents of the bride it came as a shock. It was necessary for Randol tohave the written consent of his parents and the required paierwas carried to New Madrid withhim. Miss Katheryn was sup losed to attend a house party at the Graham home south of Sikeston and nothing was thought strange when she packed her suit case and started on the journey. After the wedding the couple arrived in Sikeston aboutmidnight and took the train for Gillispie, 111., where they are spending their honeymoon. Ran dol is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Wilson and is a model young man in every way and has the respect and good will of every one. He is a good business lad, gentlemanly in his de meanor and will make a living for his bride and no mistake. Miss Katheryn is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Tanner, and is one of the sweetest little ladies in the cityand will make Randol a delight ful companion through life. Ex cept for the youthfulness of the couple there could have been 110objection to the marriage of Randol and Katheryn. The Standard congratulates Randol011 his selection, admires bis nerve and bespeaks for him abright future. May their dreams of maritial bliss never be clouded.
