Death of James Evans.James Evans, 07 years old, died at his home in this city Monday morning, He had been in failing health for two years and for the past two months had been confined to his bed. He was born on a farm in Owen county June 19. 1847, and lived here practically all his life ai d was highly respected by ail who knew him. Funeral services were oonducted by Rev. M. V. Foster at the residence Tuesday afternoon, interment in Riverside cemetery.vHe is survived by his wife iau*four children, Mrs. Charles Barnhill of Bloomington, Mrs. Clarence McGee and Will J. Evans of Indianapolis and Mrs, Dorothy Strombaugh of North Liberty; one brother, Marion Evans of Camargo, III., and two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Ashbaucrh o£ Lyons and Mrs. Wampler.
