Trottier-McMartinHOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. -The Church of the Immaculate Conception was the setting July 6 at 12:30 p.m. for the marriage of Donna E. McMartin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. McMartin of 44 Hoosick St., Hoosick Falls, and John W. Trottier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Trottier of 11 Main St., Hoosick Falls, with the Rev. Donald Ammering, pastor, officiating.The bride, a 1974 graduate of Hoosick Falls Central School, was given in marriage by her father, and wore a long gown of silk organza, and a three-tiered floor-length veil attached to a mantilla. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink daisies, white pom pons and baby’s breath.The bride was attended by her sister, Karen Dowling, and bridesmaids were Debra McMartin, also sister of the bride; Debra Trottier, sister of the bridegroom; and Donna Godfrey. Katie Hickey was flower girl. Arthur Nash was best man, and ushers were Ronald Trottier, brother of the bridegroom: Robert Dowling and Wesley Weeden.A reception followed at the Hoosick Falls Elks Club, after which the couple left on a wedding trip to Wildwood, N.J.They reside in Bennington. HFCS graduate, is employed at where the bridegroom, a 1971 Green Mountain Furnitire.
