IIousteii'SLhcrerIncarnate Word College Chapel was the setting for the Saturday wedding of Miss Janie Scherer and John. Charles Houston. The Rev. Joseph Green well officiated.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John W. Scherer, and Mr. and Mrs. W.V. Houston.Miss Virginia Mzyk was maid lt;»f honor. Other attendants were Mrs. Gary Harwell ef Bryan, Miss Edna Zinsmeister and Mins Jan Berry. Nancy Houston was the flower girl.*Benjamin Jubcla of Big Spring served as best man. Groomsmen were Gary Harwell ol Bryan, Charles Harrington of College Station and Donna Id Pardiman of Big Spring. John Henry Van De Wallc and Michael Zirts-mtister wore altar boys, and the ring bearer was Tommy Russo. Offertory gifts were carried by Cheryl Van De Walle and Tim Van De IValle.After a reception in the Ft. Sam Houston Officers' Club, the couple left for a honeymoon in Monterrey. They will make their home in Houston.
