Moines, Wed., Thurs., and Fit of last week.The Legion Auxiliary meetings for the ensuing year will be held at the Legion building every 3rd Man-day night of each month.TODD - SEXTON EXCHANGE VOWSMr. and Mrs. Ralph Todd announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Karen Kay Todd to Mr. Darwin Sexton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sexton of Lenox, la. The ceremony was performed at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Appleton City, Mo., on June 5 by the Rev. O. D. Myers in the presence of the immediate families.The bride chose a white linen dress, fashioned with a scalloped neckline and long bapercd sleeves edged in lace, and wore a red rose shoulder corsage. Mrs. ClydeCompton, twin sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Her dress was of pink linen.Mr. Randall Murdock of Audubon, Iowa, brother-in-law of the groom, served as best man.After a reception at the home of the bride's parents, the couple left for a honeymoon through the Ozarks.They will reside at the Coe and Dee Trailer Park In Clinton, Mo., where they will both teach this fall.Sunshine Sisters MetI With Mrs. BrownI Ten mcml)crs of the Sunshine Sisters Club met July 15 with Mrs. Harold Brown as hostess.
