Jackson Sunday afternoon. \yhen Miss Mary Luclna Rentschler, daughter of Mr. andm * I H•Mrs, J. P. Rentschler, former Marshall residents, was united in pmarriage with Walter Belswenger, v son of Albert Belswenger. Rev. O. M. Rledel performed the eerembny in the presence of about 500 guests the bridal ' party being .stationed j before an .altai* , banked with j palms,' ferns1 'and garden flowers.The bride, who' was given in marriage by her father,' was charming ;.j in a gown 6f white satin, fashioned with' high waist and neckline and having ■ row of tiny satin j buttons down the back- The close- i fitting sleeves extended in flares i over the hand and featured, was a j very Jong flowing train. A Jong rhille veil fed from a dap of lace . and tulle, the lace outlining the j veil at thfe lilpllne;' White roses; tied with bebe breath, composed1 the bridal’ bouquet. Mrs. James Thunder of Battle Creek, was matron o| honor, while the.v Misses Wanetta ■'Arms and Phyllis' Raw-son were the bridesmaids. Patricia ■ Ann and Sharon Rose McFate, small friends of the bride were flower girls.' All the attendants were gowned iri white and wore matching hats. James Thunder performed the 'duties of best man. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home qf1 the bride's parents' .for about 200 friends arid relatives. Late afternoon, Mr. and Mrs.' Beiswehger left on a hohdymobh bi the east. The couple will be at home after Aug. 15 at 220. E. High,- Jackson. Thej bride was graduated from Jackson. high school in 1930 and from Oberlin Conservatory of Mimic in 1935. For the past year, site has been supervisor'of music in Van-] dercook Lake public school. Mr. fieiswenger was . graduated from; Jackson high school in 1930 and] attended Jackson Junior college.; He is now manager of a Kroger store In Jackson. Attending the! wedding from Marshall were Mr.] and, Mrs. L. W. Rentschler, Mr and Mrs. Fred. Reyer, Miss Naomi Reyer,. Fred Rentschler and Herman Rentschler.
