Burnet wen1 united in marriage in the F'irst Methodist Church of F’reoport at 8:00 p.m. July 16. 1966Rev, Robert B Langham performed the double ring ceremony before an altar flanked by spiral candelabra draped with native flowing simlax. Giant glads and white fugi mums were placed below the cross on the altar. The windows held candies with blue-green shades of satin ribbon find smilax.Dale Cambell, accompanied by Cheri Hickey at the organ, sang The Twelfth of Never” and “The Lord’s Prayer”.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a sheath gown of embroidered silk organza. The long sleeves tapered to points at the wrist and the scoop neckline was edged with tatting made byj the groom's grandmother, Mrs. Ima Cummins. The chapel train of silk organza was attached at the waist and her veil of nylon tulle was held by a headpiece of pearl-edged silk organza petals.Her nosegay, carried atop a white Bible, was roses interspersed with baby's breath and tiny pearl hearts, centered with a white rose lift out corsage.Mrs. Bobbie Sue Petrick of Burnet was matron of honor anti Miss Sandy Galeeran ami Mlss Sharon Strahan, both of Burnet, werej bridesmaids They wore royal i blue organza street length dream'srbead man; candle lighten wetel*sJan Kassaw am! Her corsage L was of chartreuse fugi mums. I ^ Mrs. Reba Price, grandmother of p the bride, wore a powder blue silk dress and the groom’s grand-mother, Mrs. Ima Cummins, chose a rose silk suit. Their corsages were blue agapanthus lilies.White tapers in crystal holders land the bride's bouquet centered:1 the white linen covered reception i table which held the crystal punch service and four-tiered wedding {cake.
