St. Bernards church was the scene for the nuptial mass when Joyce Lockhart and Irwin Thomas Quinn, Jr., exchanged marriage vows on July 12. Monsignor Murphy officiated.Baskets of white gladioli, stock, Esther Reed daisies with sprays of orchid candytuft and and summer lilac decorated the church. Johnny and Robert Bowers, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bowers and cousins of the bride were altar boys.The bride was dressed in a gown of white eyelet embroidered organdy, styled with a fittedMr. and Mrs. Irwin QuinnSwanlund photoibodice ana full pleated skirt sweeping into a chapel length train. The bodice had long fitted sleeves, a high neck and a small1collar where she wore a pink heirloom cameo pin. Her heart-shaped bonnet cap was edged with pearls and a finger-tip veil.She carried a white prayer book with white orchid marker and streamers of bavardia.Norma Conti was maid of honor with Mary Lee Carroll, Annette Carroll and Constance Watson as bridesmaids. They woreorchid embroidered organdygowns with fitted bodice and* full ballerina skirts. The 'hats were orchid net with matching ribbon streamers. The maid of honor carried a white basket of white sweetpeas while the bridesmaids carried baskets of orchid and pastel sweetpeas.Attending the groom was Jack Quinn, brother, as best man. Ushers were Pete Carroll, Dan Cloney and William Cloney. Dan Stevens was soloist accompanied by Rose Ann Birger at the organ.The bridal breakfast was served to the bridal party and close members of the family in the Westchester room of the EurekaInn. A reception followed later.The wedding table was centeredby a tiered cake, topped by a miniature bride and groom. Low arrangements of Esther Reed daisies and lavender violas also decorated the table. Mrs. Winifred Hunt,Miss Frances Giffen, and Mr. andMrs. Marc Johnson assisted with floral arrangements. Mrs. Andrew Knudsen, the former Beverly Watson, was in charge of theguest book.For her honeymoon to LakeTahoe the bride wore a pink shantung dress under a navy faille fitted coat with matching hat and accessories. Annette Carroll caught the bouquet. On their return the couple will live at Evergreen Haven.The new Mrs. Quinn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lockhart of Eureka, has been employed in San Francisco, teaching at La Conte school. She graduated from College of Arts and Crafts and attended San Francisco State college.The groom, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Thomas Quinn of Eureka, received his bachelor of science degree from Santa Cldra and attended law school for one year.
