ALDEEN BOESE BECOMES BRIDE OF MAYHEW SLITOR AT RITESMiss Aldeen Boese, daughter 6f Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Boese, became the bride of Mayhew Slitor Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Bakersfield’s First Baptist Church.Mr. Slitor, a native of Iowa, is employed by Kern Countyfan Department.The bride wore a white eyelet*--afternoon dress for the informal ceremony. She carried a bouquet of gardenias surrounded by orange blossoms.Mrs. Art Penner, her sister’s matron of honor, wore a lieht bluetbouquet of blue and wnite mar-coni daisies.Best man was Art Penner, Family ReceptionA reception for immediate members of the family only took place in the Tower Room of Bakersfield Inn. Afterwards the couple left on a two week's honeymoon to northern cities.The bride is a graudatc of Shatter High School. Bakersfield College and Lufkins College. She is employed by Em. H. Met tier and Sons in Shatter.Her husband was educated in Iowa where he taught high school. He is working in Shafter out of the county welfare office.When they return from their honeymoon the couple will live in the Zimmerman Apartments.14
