! Gives ShowerFor Bride-To-BeMiss Letty Valentine and Mrs. Guy Fuller were hostesses for a miscellaneous shower Monday night at the home of Miss Valentine on West 5th. Street. The shower was given in honor of Miss Elsie Laper, a bride-to-be on this Wednesday.I The evening was spent in contests I and social chats. Miss Bonnie Bryant was winner in the Bride’s Trousseou contest and was presented with a box of Luvor face powder. Clara Johnson received a bar pin for being winner in the guessing contest.The dinning room was a pretty scene with its decorations of pink and green crepe paper. From the chand-ileer stripes of the crepe paper were traped to each plate at the large center table and the four small tables. Baskets of roses, sweet peas, and hydrangeas completed the decorations. Favors were little cupid placards with the tiny baskets filled with heart mints.Miss Laper received many beautiful 1 gifts of aluminum, Haviland china,I cut glass, linens and silver.| Individual heart molds of ice cream j angel food cake and punch were server to the following guests: MissesVemye Johnson, Mary Meiring, Mary Stein, Clara Johnson, Garnie Wedding, Myrl Wilson, Clara Martin, Bonnie Bryant, Pauline Laper, Anna Valentine, Mrs. Paul Winters, Mrs. William Winters from Detroit, Mrs. Orville Rosser, Mrs. Guy Hoover, Mrs. Charles Barr, Mrs. Merle Loucks, Mrs. I Paul Enmeier, Mrs. John Karagos, Mrs. Julius Hogr, Mrs. Carrie Cook, Mrs. William Callahan, and Mrs. Is- i sac Valentine.
