Atlantic. Ia., wan born Jnly 5. 1878, in East Saginaw, Mich., and came to CasB county in 1680. She was graduated from the Atlantic High School in 1890 and studied German, Elocution and Physical Culture during the following year. She taught two years in the country schools o£ Csss and Shelby counties, also taught a class in music and began the study of Medicine and Surgery in 1893, pursuing the course in Hahumennn Medical College and Hospital of Chicago, 111., from which Bbo graduated with honors in 1897, receivng the Faculty Prize of twenty -five dollars. Sbe has since practiced her profession in Atlantic, Ia. She is medical examiner for the Royal Neighbors of America and Ladies of the Maccabees and is a member of the Hahnemann Medical Association and Order of the Eastern Star.
