Clinton Stokes Sr. of Norfolk. Miss Bigelow is also the daughter of the late Monroe Wilson Bigelow.The wedding is Aug. 22 at 11 a.m. at The Depot, Burlington.The bride-elect graduated from Cummings High School and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a major in special education K-12 and a minor in sociology. She attended Elon College and was vice president of Students of N.C. Association of Educators. She was a representative of the Student Council of Exceptional Students and a Cross Roads teacher with the Big Sister / Mentor Program.She is employed at Nationsbank, Burlington.The bridegroom-elect graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Norfolk, and studied mechanical engineering at Georgetown University, Washington, I).C. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps and is employed at Burlington Industries, Burlington.Kimberly Bigelow Clinton Stokes Jr.
