The wedding of Susan Mary Botz to Thomas J. McDonald took p'ce Saturday in St. Theodore’s at 1 a.m Mrs. McDonald is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil J. Botz, 812 Stanley Ave. McDonald, Ellendale, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark eDonald, Chatfield The Rev. Bernard P. Mangan, officiated at the nuptial mass, us ing the double ring ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white chantilly type lace over nylon tulle and blush pink satin. A formal bodtice was accented with chantil ly lace studded with seed pearls and pallettes. Tiers of nylon tulle formed the bouffant skirt. Over this was a redingote of imported, hand clipped, chantilly lace, fash ioned with a scoop neckline. The 9 vn had long sleeves and a chap el train. Her fingertip veil of silk fusion with hand painted se quins fell from a Queen Anne «own of Florentine lace. She car ried a white missal which was a eft of the groom. White roses with sixphonous streamers topped the mmissal. Mary McDonald, Rochester, sis te of the groom, was maid of hon or. Marcia Haislet, Minneapolis, cousin of the bride, was brides maid and Helen McDonald, Chat field, sister of the groom, was junior bridesmaid. They were dressed alike in pas tel pink dresses of nylon chiffon over translite taffeta, baller in a length with scooped necklines. The skirts were full with large bows at the center back of the waist line. Their short white gloves were gifts from the bride. They carried cascade bouquets of pink carna tions and wore matching head dresses which were sequin trimmed and had a short veil. Quentin Knudsen, Geneva, was best man. William McDonald, Fl lendale, the groom's brother, and Robert McDonald, Owatonna, groom's cousin, were groomsmen Ushers were Richard Botz, Wash ington, D. C., brother of the bride, and John McDonald, Geneva, cou sin of the groom Shirley Moon, Albert Lea, was organist and Peter Schneider, Owa tonna, was soloist. After the ceremony a brunch and reception was held for about 150 guests at the Hotel Albert in the Spanish Dining Room. Judy Drommerhausen, Bonnie Stephen son, Patricia Gendler and Sonia Syverson, all of Albert Lea, were in charge of opening the gifts. Mrs. William McDonald, sister-in law of the groom, had charge of the guest book. After a short trip, Mr. and Mrs. McDonald will be at home at 425 Park Ave. For going away the bride chose a two piece black and white tweed ensemble with a white corsage and white accessories. The bride is a graduate of the Albert Lea High School and is em ployed in the office of Dr. W. E. Behring. The groom graduated from Loyola High School in Man kato and is presently employed at Gambles in Albert Lea. MRS. THOMAS J. McDONALD
