STEVENSON-McCORDYoung Attorney Takes Local Teacheras His Bride^A. J. Stevenson, well known young attorney of Danville, and Miss Josephine McCord, teacher in the local high school, were married at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McCord, at Oxford, Sunday. Theceremony was read by the Rev. Strick-ler of the Oxford Christian church. Miss Lois McCord, a sister of the bride, acted as bride’s maid and Her-schel Hadley of this place was best man. They were the only attendants. Tbe members of Miss McCord’s immediate family and a limited number of invited guests, were present at the ceremony.Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson went to Chicago after the ceremony, and later went to Thousand Islands in the St. Lawrence river to spend the remainder of their honeymoon. They intend to return here Sunday, and will make their home for the present with Mr. and Mrs. S. L. McCurdy.The Gazette joins the friends of the happy young couple in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and prosperous life in their new
