STEVENSON-McCOR DMiss Josephine McCord, of Oxford, formerly of the high school faculty, and Jewell Stevenson, of the local bar, were married at the home of the bride in Oxford, Sunday afternoon by the Rev. B. P. Strickler, of Oxford. Onlya few of the more intimate friends of*the couple were present. The attendants were Miss Lois McCord, sister ofthe bride and Herschel Hadley.Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson left for Chicago immediately and will tour the East for ten days or two weeks when they will be at home in Danville. Mrs. Stevenson is a charming lady, a graduate of Purdue university. Mr. Stevenson is a graduate of Indiana university and is winning his laurels as an attorney, the junior member of the firmof Blessing Stevenson.
