—dSpencer Journal: Elza Wagoner,, of Monroe county, at the age of 73, hale, hearty and good natured?; after having embarkedupon the matrimonial seas for the third time—and being left without a mate when the allotted time of man drew near—Bought for and found one who was was willing to share his lot until grim death “do part.” Mary C. Keg-ley, young at 49, of near Gosport, who also had more than once shared the joys and sorrows of matrimony, lisped the favorable words which brought happiness to both, and $2 to the county clerk of Owen. They were in Spencer Monday and at the clerk’s officeSquire Lucas tied the connubialknot with his usual skill. At the depot the old English custom ofthrowing rice was engaged in by the fun-loving witnesses of their departure. The custom was new to the groom, and the participarta made haste to get out of reach of iiis eanc.
