Springer-Newton Janet Lynn Springer and Paul Alan Newton, both of Odessa, plan to marry July 31 at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Thorpe officiating. The bride-elect is the daughter of Jack and Lan ette Springer of Odessa. She is a graduate of Per mian High School and the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. She is working on a master’s degree at UTPB and is employed by Ector Coun ty Independent School District. Her fiance is the son of David and April Newton of Odessa. He is a 1984 graduate of Clarksville High School in Clarksville, Ark., and the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville. He is employed by RR Jance Inc. in Odessa. Grado-Navarrete Sevier Grado of Odessa and Alvin Navarrete of Midland plan to marry July 31 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The bride-elect is the daughter of Victor and Josephine Grado of Odes sa. She is a 1986 graduate of Permian High School and attended Austin School of Massage Ther apy. She is employed by Texas Chiropractic Insti tute. Her fiance is the son of Felix and Eulalia Na varrete of Midland. He is a 1983 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and a 1988 graduate of Midland College with a criminal justice associate’s degree. He is employed by Midland Police Department. Hair-Gibson June L. Hair and James D. Gibson, both of Bangs, plan to marry July 31 at Lake Brownwood First Baptist Church in Lake Brownwood with the Rev. Bill Wells officiating. The bride-elect is the daughter of Maryin and Alan Hair of Odessa. She is a 1985 graduate of Per mian High School and a 1989 graduate of Texas Tech University. She is a self-employed rancher in Bangs. Her fiance is the son of Ruth and L.B. Gibson of Albany. He is a graduate of Albany High School and Tarleton State Uni versity. He is a staff ser geant in the Texas Army National Guard and is a self employed rancher in Bangs. Hadorn-Thorla Cathy Lynn Hadorn of Laurel, Miss., formerly of Odessa, and Troyce Wayne Horla of Petal, Miss., plan to marry Aug. 7 at Congregational Methodist Church in Laurel. The bride-elect is the daughter of Steve Hadorn and Roxanne Selva of Granbury. She is a gradu ate of Granbury High School and attends Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Miss. Her fiance is the son of Tommy and Dixie Thorla of Petal. He is a 1986 graduate of Petal High School and attends JCJC. He is employed by Wells Fargo in Ellisville. Dickson-Willicut Jennifer L. Dickson of Rotan and Robert J. Willicut of Odessa plan to marry Aug. 7 in Rotan. The bride-elect is the daughter of Joe Dickson and Linda Dickson, both of Rotan. She is a 1992 graduate of Angelo State University with a bach elor of arts degree in edu cation. She attends Loui siana State University in Baton Rouge, La.
