Joan Richert, Arthur Jackson Wed in ChoteauJoan M. Richert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hichert, Choteau, and Sp4 Arthur F. Jackson, son of the late Harold Jackson, Augusta, were united in marriage at 8 p.m. Friday, July 5. Rev. Marlow Eng-berg officiated at the ceremony in Trinity Lutheran Church, Choteau.The bride, given in marriage by her father wore a floor length gown, which she fashioned of white satin and lace. Her full length lace edged silk illusion veil was held in a rhinestone tiara. She carried a cascade of white and yellow chrysanthemums and daisys, the same flowers that decorated the church.Laura Richert was her sister’s maid-of-honor. She wore a * floor-length yellow gown, with matching headdress and carried a bouquet of yellow and white chrysanthemums and daisy s.Peter Joe Jackson, Great Falls, was his brother’s best man. Ushering duties were performed by Michael Richert, Choteau, and Tom Eckerson, Augusta. Mrs. Farrell Rose accompanied by Mrs. Vernon Scott, sang “Kneeling at the Altar.” The newlyweds greeted the guests at a reception in the church basement following the ceremony. The bride is a 1968 graduate of Choteau High School and the groom attended Augusta High School. Their home will be in Fort Lewis, Wash., where Jackson is completing his military duties after serving in Vietnam.
