Burns of Linnets were united in marriage on Saturday, June 22, in Kansas City.The dingle uinfc c* remony wasread by Probate Judge C. E. Tucker. Their only attendant was the bride’s sister, Miss Elaine Smith.The bride was attired in navy blue with white accessories. Her attendant were powder blue with black accessories. The groom wore a blue business suit.The bride is the daughter of Mr. tmri Mrs. R. H. Smith of North Salem. The pnst year she taught the ^hird Grade in the Marceline_ is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Burns of Linneus. He served three yeai*s in the Army,eighteen months of it b*ing over seas. He received!}is honorable discharge March 26. /The couple will make theirhome on a farm north of Brookfield.
