A sudden surprise was sprung on the peonle of I his linen few days ago when it wju» whispered aromul that Miss Rachel Lvness was, in the near fu-tute tobe wedded to Mr. Henry Hooper, a thrifty, prosperous and highly esteemed farmer in the vicinity of Bun- ' essin. The happy event was quietly consumated at the Priceville Methodist parsonage by Rev. Mr. Roach in the presence of a few select friends and relatives, on Tuesday last. The bride is a native of this line and has lived all her life on the old homestead, which of late years has been improveJ and transformed into oneof the most convenient and comftrtable homesteads in thisf.u*t of the country.
