Thomspon Jr. officiated, and music was by Joel Leathand Troy Weaver, soloists, and Sonia Leath, pianist and soloist.The bride is the daughter of Minnie Lee of Burlington and the late Ervin S. Lee.The bridegroom is the son of the late Clara Corbett and the late Bennie Corbett of Cedar Grove.Given in marriage by her son, Antoine Lee ofBurlington, the bride wore a gown of white slipper satin with embroidered flowers, a fitted bodice with beaded Schiffii embroidery, dropped waist, full skirt with embroidered lace hem, and cathedral train. Her fingertip illusion veil with pouf and blusher was secured to a crown of crystals and pearls, and she carried a bouquet of roses, mums and babies’ breath.Pearl Stewart of Burlington, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Smith, Calva McCollum and Marion Harvey of Burlington, sisters of the bride, and Cheryl Corbett of Oxenhill,Md , daughter of the bridegroom.Anthony Foriest of Graham, nephew of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Jullie H. Smith Jr.,George E. McCollum and David Harvey, brothers-in-law of the bride, and Millard Lee Sr., brother of the bride, of Burlington.Tiffany Lawson and Donte Morgan of Stone Mountain, Ga., niece and nephew of the bride, were flower girl and ringbearer. Junior bridesmaids were Latoya Morgan of Virginia Beach, Va., niece of the bride, and Delonica LeaMrs. Joseph Corbett...Dorothy Leeof Raleigh, cousin of the bride. Junior ushers were Billy Morgan III of Virginia Beach, nephew of the bride, and Nathan Lea of Raleigh,her cousin.Hazel T. Poteat of Reidsville was wedding director, and guest registrar was Alicia McCollum of Greenville, niece of the bride.The couple were hosts at a reception at the bridegroom’s home.The bride graduated from Bennett College, Greensboro, with a B.A. degree and N.C. AT State University,Greensboro, with an M.S. degree. She is a teacher with Burlington City Schools.The bridegroom attended N.C. AT State University and graduated from Alamance Community College with an A.A.S. degree in drafting and design technology. He is a barber at Palace Barber Shop, Burlington.The newlyweds will reside on Route 1, Cedar Grove.
