Charles Sansom Jr., pastor of the Ocean City Baptist Church, officiated at the service for the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Mel R Waters of Fort Walton Beach and the son of Mr and Mrs. Leo Bennett of Churchville, Va.Mary Lowery was pianist, and Tammy Couty and Philip Gray were vocalists The candles werelit by Michael Wood.Kelly Michael. Monroe. Ga.. was maid of honor The bride’s sister, Gayla Waters was her bridesmaid.Best man was Steve Shorttell Zachary Edwards and Michael Wood were groomsmen and ushers.Cheryl Chunn kept the guest book at the reception, held in the party room of the Chateau Royal Barbara Hansen poured and served punch. Mrs Earle Gaver cut and served the three tiered cake The reception was directed by Mrs.Bemie Landry, Dot Hayden and Faye Ziglar.The groom’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Roman Gardens, Niceville.A miscellaneous shower was given by Mrs. Lois Ray and another shower was hosted by Kelly Michael.Out of town guests were Mr and Mrs W F. Waters. Eufaula, Ala., grandparents of the bride; Mr. and Mrs Tom Lundgren, Daleville, Ala ; Mr and Mrs George Searcy, Mr and Mrs. R. F Moran, and Mr. and Mrs Robert Searcy.
