Murphy, pastor of the Bland Street Methodist Church, performed the double ring ceremony in.the church; He was assisted by the Rev. C. D. Murphy, pastor of the Bland Presbyterian Church and the Rev. Roger Kluttz, pastor of St. Matthews Church.Gives BrideThe bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, F. B. Tate.Miss Dorothy Tate, of Chapel Hill, N. C., aunt of the bride, was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Miss Sara Muncy of Bethes-da, Md., Mrs. Richard Sutherland of Rocky Mount, sisters of the bridegroom; Miss Eleanor Byrd and Mrs. Martin Tate, aunt of the bride.Miss Jamie Muncy of Bethesda, sister of the bridegroom sang and Miss Anna Muncy gave a program of wedding music.Flower GlrisDottie and Ruthie Blazosky of State College, Pa., cousins of the bride, were flower girls. Ring bearers were Hal Tate and Susie Tate,cousins of the bride.Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Tate home after which the couple left on a southern trip.
