Father Kadi- .After tbe ceremony t-c parties went to tbe home of tbe, bride’s mother, Mrs B F. Jef-fries where refreshments were served. The bride wore while silk trimmed with alover lace and white violets and a white vail of silk shlffou and carried a boquet of white lea roses and feres; the attendants were Dr Frank Camp bell as best man and Miss Mary Me Closkey as bridesmaid. Quite a num* ber were present at the home and a nice time is reported The afternoon-wm spent by music. Miss Powell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Riley Meltzer and the adopted daughter of Mr. Leonard Powell deceased. The presents were numerous. Riley Meltzer thj bride’s fathe* presented he* w th a set of knives and foris, O L Means and Mrs. Pryor a beautiful parlor lamp, D\and Mrs. So der fruit dish.
