TAKING ANOTHER DEGREE! On Wednesday afternoon, Miss EllaTourje, daughter of Win. Tonrje, Esq.,was married to Mr. E. S. Pophain, B.A.,Principal of Brandon High School. Wecongratulate all the parties ooncerned on this auspicious event. Miss Tourje is well-known and universally esteemed in this her native place; and the many expressions of good will, on the occasion of her marriage, must liave been highly gratifying to herself and her friends, and—even to her husband. She has been for some years organist of the Division St. Methodist Church; and the Trustees passeed a very complimentary resolution on lier retirement. Her class-members also tendered her an affectionate address, with a handsome present of silver-ware, and a very large assortment of beautiful and valuable presents were also contributed, as a manifestation of the good-will and esteem of the many friends, Mr. and Mrs. Popham went east by Wednesday euening’s boat, and in about a fortnight will repair to their home in Brandon. —Cobourg World.
