St. Cecelia's Catholic Church in Algona was the setting for the June 23 wedding of Kathleen Ruth Hildman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aelred A. Hildman of Burt, and James Milton Barnett, son of Mr, and Mrs. Gurden M. Barnett of Guthrie Center. Father Mark E. Duchaine officiated at the 1 p.m. double ring ecumenical ceremony.Deb Harms of Burt, furnished the organ music for the ceremony and accompanied A1 and Lori Koenecke of Burt as they sang Sometimes”, “Whither Thou Goest, and “The Lord's Prayer. “The Wedding Song was sung by the groom's brother, John, and his sister, Jayne, as the bride and groom lighted the Unity candle.The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. Jeanette Ohnemus, Mason City, was maid of honor, and Jayne Barnett of Guthrie Center, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. The bride's personal attendant was her sister, Patricia DeGeeter of Bancroft.John Barnett of Fayetteville, Ark., served his brother as best man, and Douglas Kallesen of Brentwood, Mo. was the groomsman,Guests were ushered to their seats by Michael Ohnemus of Livermore; Steve Barnett of Allentown, Pa., cousin of the groom; and Bill Anderson of Newton,Sister Marcine Kellner of Bancroft, cousin of the bride, Kay Crow of Hawarden and Cheryl Hartman of Worthing, S.D., pinned corsages. Diane Ohnemus of Humboldt and '4Shirley Ohnemus of Mason City passed out the wedding programs.The reception was held following the ceremony at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Algona with Mr.. and Mrs. Wayne Ohnemus of Livermore and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Hildman of Wesley, uncle and aunt of the bride, as hosts. Patricia and Joe DeGeeter of Bancroft, sister and brother-in-law of the bride, greeted and registered the guests.Punch was dipped by SheilaAngus and Mary Ann Morin of Burt. Beatrice Neuroth, Wesley, aunt of the bride, bakedand decorated the tiered wedding cake. Serving the cake were Vivian Dutton of Burt, great-aunt and godmother of the bride, arid Marian Christensen of Ida Grove, aunt of the groom.Presiding at the silver coffee service was Mary Barnett of Guthrie Center, aunt of the groom. She was assisted by Desiree Kallesen of Brentwood, Mo. and Agnes Schwab of Guthrie Center.Mr. and Mrs. Wallace McArthur of Bancroft, great-aunt and uncle of the bride, were in charge of the reception table. Waitresses were Mar-cine and Sue Kellner of Bode, Margaret Hauptmann of Wesley, cousins of the bride, and Betty, Nancy and Kay Erpeid-ing of Burt.Connie Schuster of Burt and Diane Jacobson, Titonka, opened and. displayed the wedding gifts.Mr. and Mrs. Gurden M.
