Academy Chapel Scene Of Afternoon Nuptial VowsJean Gail Ginker married Norman Randall Fitzhugh June 17 in Air Force Academy Chapel. Chaplain Robert L. Browning performed the afternoon ceremony.Parents of the couple are Lt. Col. and Mrs. John AV Gieker, 495 Selfridge Drivr, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman C. Fitzhugh. Magnolia, Ark.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white silk organza with detachable chapel-length train. The basque bodice of peau d'ange lace w-as designed with a narrow Valenciennes ruffled yoke. Lace was repeated around the portrait neckline and the deep cuffs of the bishop sleeves. A double border of scalloped lace and scattered appliques of lace trimmed the A-line skirt and train. Her train-length mantilla from Madrid, Spain, cascaded from a caplet tirmmed in scalloped lace. She carried a cascade of white carnations with yellow miniature sweetheart roses and baby’s breath.Janet Gierker. sister of the bride, was maid of honor inan empire gown of white, blue and green flowered lace and a white picture hat.Bridesmaids were Fawn Park, Sterling; Sue Senft, Bel-levur, Neb., and Dee Dee Fitzhugh, sister of the groom, Magnolia, Ark. They wore empire gowns of white sheer flocked nylon over pastel yellow and yellow picture hats.Lt. Arthur S. Olson Jr., Novato, Calif., was best man. Ushers were Len Robertson, Magnolia; Cadet Chip Hough, and Cadet Bob Frohlich.Sabre bearers were Mark Smith, Ron Taylor, A1 Streib, and Jim Massaro, all cadets at the Air Force Academy.A reception at the Academy Officer's Club followed the ceremony. After a wedding trip to Yellowstone National Park, Canada and the Pacific Northwest, the couple will live in Oklahoma where flie groom is stationed at Vance Air Force Base.The bride attended Western Illinois University and Blair Business College.
