Summer w*Dunham-Davis marriage occursMiss Ruth Ellen Dunham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dunham of Overhill Street, and David Lee Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Lee Davis of Baltimore Street, Westover, were married at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Aidon A. Licari performed the May 22 double-ring nuptial Mass.Miss Vickie Berry was the organist.The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of silk organza re-embroidered with Venise lace. The Empire gown featured a high Edwardian neckline and long bishop sleeves. A court train was attached to the back waistline.Her headpiece was a cluster of lace and rose petals accented with aurora stems which held her layered bouffant illusion veil. She carried a nosegay of white rosebuds and carnations.Miss Eloise Bebout was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Margaret Ann Dunham and Miss Patty Jo Dunham, sisters of the bride.The attendants wore floor length gowns of blush pink georgette trimmed with shocking pink and blue flowers on the neckline and sleeves. The dresses featured scooped necklines and short puffed sleeves. Their headpieces were clusters of pink leaves with layers of illusion veiling matching their gowns. Each carried a long stemmed pink rosebud.William Alexander served as best man. Groomsmen were David Allen Davitt and Eli Jabour. Ushers were Paul Dunham, brother of the bride, and Stanley Moore, nephew of the bridegroom.The mother of the bride wore a maize colored gown of French mattisee with matching coat. DAVIScorsages.A reception was held at Newman Hall immediately following the ceremony.The bridal table was covered with net and was centered by a three-tiered wedding cake. Miss Diana Dunham and Miss Marie Dunham, sisters of the bride, cut and served the cake. Miss Diane Moore, niece of the bridegroom, was in charge of the guestbook.The couple is residing in LeMasa Mobile Village in Brookhaven.
