Jeffrey Jr. in Miami Rite ■/ gaWedding vows for Miss Mary Fern Vanpool and John Lawrence Jeffrey Jr. were solemnized at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 8, in the sanctuary of the First Christian church.Hie bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George David Vanpool,Miami Route 2. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Ruth Jeffrey,.Temple, Okla., and the late John Lawrence Jeffrey.Van D. Spurgeon, minister of the First Christian church in Stillwater, officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The church was beautifully decorated with a background of greenery and pink carnations with candelabra bearing long white tapers. High in the center background was a white satin cross edged in white lace. Rloral arrangements of pink gladioli, pink id mums and small white anthemums in silver unis and wicker baskets were on side of the white aisle runner prie dieu. Intermittent arrangements of greenery, pink and white carnations with large pink satin bows and long streamers decorated the pews.Mrs Glenn Cosby, organist, presented a program of traditional wedding music.
