Gilbert—BadingA waltz-length ‘gown of imported rose point lace and nylon tulle over bridal satin was worn by Miss Lorene Gilbert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Gilbert of Clermont, Saturday for her marriage to Francis D. .Bading.The double ring' service was read by Msgr. Schulte of Immaculate Conception church, Cedar Rapids. The bride was given in marriage 'by her father.The bride's strapless lace bodice was covered with a; waist 'length jacket of lace which buttoned in. front and had long sleeves that tapered to points over the wrists. The neckline was finished with a small collar. The full nylon tulle skirt had a handkerchief peplum of the same material. .•A caplet of medallion lace held her shoulder length veil of silk illusion. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and step-hanotis with a white orchid in the center. . .Miss Doris ■: Gilbert of Cedar Rapids, was H|r sister’s maid of honor. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and feathered mums with her gown of blue embroidered satin with a net 'overskirt.Vincent Bading, brother ofvthe bridegroom, was best man and Robert Armstrong and Edward Casey were ushers. The bride’s mother wore a blue and gray figured *|lk‘ dress and the bridegroom’s mother'wore a navy blue dress. Each wore white accessories and a corsage of white carnations.A reception was vgiven in the afternoon at the Vincent Bading home. iHostesses were Mrs. Nels Gilbert and Mrs. Vincent Bading. Theresa Bading cut the wedding cake while Mrs. 'Martin Nelson and Katherine Bading served the punch.-For traveling the bride wore a brown ffgured taffeta with tangerine Idnen 'bolero and white accessories. She has been employed by Wilson Co. and the bridegroom by Collins Radio Co. The couple will live rn Chicago where he will attend school.
