Ingrain ItemsDOWDY-ZUMWALT WEDDING SOLEMNIZEDFlowers, ferns and growing plants formed the background for the wedding of Miss Valera Dowdy to Ruben Zumwalt, which was solemnized Sunday at 12:30 p. m. in the Ingram Baptist Church, with Rev. Ben Thompson officiating. Mrs. J. H. Leinweber, pianist, and Miss Dorothy Dowdy, violinist, played the wedding music, and also played the accompaniment for Miss Jean Leinweber, who sang, 0 Promise Me.”The bride wore a dress of white crepe, with a face veil of white tulle. The veil was fastened to the head with a crepe bandeau and her flowers were white gardenias. Miss Dorothy Sheppard of Kerrville was the bride’s maid and Ben Zum-wait was his brother’s best man. Immediately after the ceremony a wedding dinner was served in the home of the groom’s parents to the members of the wedding party and the immediate families of the young couple.
