Miss Patricia Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hoffman, 1408 Woodbine Ave., Eddington, became the bride of Richard E. Powers, son of Mrs. Ruth E. Powers of Dorchester, Mass., and John J. Powers of Boston, Mass., on June 20 at Christ Episcopal Church, Eddington.The Rev. Huibert DeMees-ter performed the 6 p.m. candlelight ceremony. M r s. Doris DeMeester soloist, was accompanied by Mrs. Geraldine Hoernle, organist.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of iridescent taffeta designed with scooped neckline, sleeveless bodice, bell-shaped skirt, and a jacket of nylon lace that featured long, pointed sleeves, round neckline, three small bows in the back and a detachable, chapel - length train with a flat bow at the waist. She also wore a pearl tiara with fingertip veil and carried a bouquet of phalenopsis and roses.Miss Mary Ann Koban ofPenndel was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Dorothy VanHorn of Eddington, sister of the bride; Mrs. Betty Lou Moretti. Eddington, and Miss Sheila Davis, Philadelphia.
