Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Gibson of Lake Jackson the groom is the son of H. A. Kirby of Water-lo, Iowa.Rev. O. T. Van Meter officiated at the double ring can-delighted ceremony. The altar was adorned with baskets of while carnations, greenery ancl daisies, flanked by candelabra.Mary Walts at the organ accompanied Raymond Watts who sang “The Lord's Prayer and I Love You Truly/*Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a semi-format gown of white Chantilly lace and net over aatln. She carries a • whita orchid atop a white Bible.• Mr*. C^rol Jo Smith was matron of honor. Her gown was also s/mi-formal and was fashioned of mint green lace over taffeta. With this she wore a picture hat and carried a bouquet of light green carnations.Miss Bobby Caldwell wasbridesmaid, wearing light pink net over taffeta, a picture hat, and .her flowers were pale pink carnations.Flower girls war* Beverly Ann and Rolana Jonea. Theywore dresses of pink nylon and i lace over taffeta, wiht matching accessories.Louie Smith was best man and Doilnie Gibson wfisgroomsman. Billy Fred Stevens served as usher.For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Gibson wore a beige sheath dress with matching accessories and a corsage of carnations.Following the wedding, a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.
