MI. AND MIS. JAMES L. CIESAPTeresa Eckert And James Cresap Married In Methodist ChurchDuring a traditional double ring ceremonv in the First United Methodist Church on Saturday. July I. Miss Teresa Helen Eckert became the hride nf James Lee Cresap of Elkhart. Kansas. Candlelight, fern and palms, with a sunburst arrangement of white gladioli on the alter provided a background for the ceremonv which was officiated bv the Rev Ervin Jordan.The bride is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Roscoe R. Eckert. The groom s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Comer Cresap of Wil-doradoPresented in marriage by her father, the bhdc wore a beautiful, flowing bridal original of dacron polyster organ/a detailed with French imported Chantilly lace and crystal pleating, and an attached chapel-length train. Her long veil of silk illusion edged with imported French Chantilly lace fell from a Juliet cap headpiece. The bride carried a flowing cascade of English ivy. baby’s breath, stephanotis and spider mums, centered with a white caftleya orchid. She wore a bracelet of a single strand of pearls which belong to her grandmother. Mrs. Dan Eckert, and wore her parent's wedding bands on the index finger of her right hand. In her shoe, the bride wore an English sixpence, a gift from her Uncle Ben H. Ogden.Don Baxter, organist, provided nuptial music, and Mr and Mrs. Max Ray Jordan sang “Let It Be Me.” and Whither Thou Goest”. Mr. David Eckert also sang What A Difference You’ve Made In My Life**.Mrs. Larry Willmann «*f Tvler. the bride's sister, was Matron of Honor, and bridesmaids were Rebecca Donop of Mason and Mrs. Thomas Kennedy of Haltnm City, the bride's cousins, and Mrs. Gary Lemaster of Amarillo, sister of the groom.The Matron of Honor wore a mint green evening length voille gown with a flared skirt and hemline ruffle. Their cape lets were also flared and attached to the scooped neckline of the sleeveless bodice. The brides maid's dresses were designed identically to that of the Matron of Honor, but they were yellow in color. The attendants carried nosegays of yellow daisies, greenery and baby's breath adorned with mint green and yellow streamers.Jeff Cresap of Vega served his brother as best man and groomsmen were David Eckert, the bride's brother, of Deer Park. Gary Lemaster of Amanllo, and Larry Willmann of Tyler. Ushers were George H. Kimbriei of Lamesa and Richard Ogden of Henderson.The bride's mother chose a dusty blue gown with a lace long-sleeved jacket while Ihe groom’s mother wore a peachcoioreo gown, »otn wore corsages.A reception followed th« ceremonv in the Church Socia HallMrs. Gene Thomas of Loving ton. New Mexico presided at the bride s book. The table held » unitv candle which was lit bv the bride and groom.The bride* s table was laid witf a white lace doth and held the three tiered wedding cake which was decorated with white daisiei and a flowing fountain. It was topped with a silver wedding cross.The groom's table was laid with a beige cloth and held a German chocolate cake topped with yellow daisies.Members of the houseparty were the Mmes. Jena Hofmann of Mason and Shanna Hadlev of Cleburne passed out nee bags.For her going away outfit. Mrs. Cresap chose a moss green and brown floral dress with beige accessories.Following a wedding trip to San Antonio, the Cresaps will make their home in Elkhart.
