A lace cloth covered the table which was centered with an arrangement of greenery interspersed with blue and white carnations, flanked with blue candles in pewter candlesticks. Cake decorated in blue and white was served with punch, nuts nd mints.Contests were enjoyed with prizes awarded to Mrs. Dianne Tate, Mrs. Woanetta Osborne and Mrs. Eunice Wood. The honored guest’s name was drawn for the door prize.Many gifts were received.Assisting Mrs. Tooley were Joyce Thompson, Hazleton, and Jenny Goff, Winslow, friends of the bride-elect.Miss Cloin and Daniel Wood,Winslow, will be united in marriage on Sunday, July 16, 1978, at 2:30 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church, Princeton.Sew-It-Seams hold meetingThe Sew-It-Seams Extension Homemakers Club met June 28at the home of Tommie Young. Pledge to the Flag and the Extension Homemakers Creed was recited by all. Roll call was answered by everyone telling their favorite month and why. The minutes from the last meeting and the treasurer's report was given by Phyllis McConnell.The family picnic will be held July 30 at the home of Nancy Meyer. On July 5, the club will be going to Lincoln State Park for a swimming party.The fair exhibit was discussed and a project was decided upon. Two workdays will be held to work on this
