Her tullemantilla was edged -with chantilly lace ‘ to form a scalloped border.Her wedding bouquet of chrysanthemums with an orchid formed a cross with white streamers.Miss Josie Perez, the bride's sister.’ was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss YolandaOlivarez LvforJ. Miss Juanai Guerra, Raymondville, Missj Lala Tamez. Dallas, and Miss Consuela Tamez, Lasara. They: wore sleeveless pastel yellow slipper length A-line dresses detailed with princess, seaming. The bodice had a-round neck and a self-fabric tie belt worn at-'the high empire , waistline. Their flowers were white carnations with yellow streamers;.Roberto .Davila, the groom’s brother, ■ was 'best man and Adan Cavazos, Pepc Perez and Juan Perez served as groomsmen. ■The bride's mother wore a three-quarter length navy blue iacket over a white sheath. The bridegroom’s mother chose a vellowone-piece double knit. Both had white orchid corsages.After the ceremony a reception was held at the Lasara School Cafeteria followed by a dance at the Community Civic Center in Raymondville.Miss Cleo Tamez served the weddine cake, a three-tiered confection bordered with yellow roses and topped by a miniature bridal couple.
