CONRAD BOTERWEG IIIMfSS PATRICIA C ADAMS BECOMES BRIDEOF CONRAD BOTERWEG III AT CHURCH HERELIIMiss Patricia Catherine Adams and Conrad Boterweg III exchanged wedding vows in a lovely ceremony Saturday afternoon, June 30, at four o’clock at the First Baptist Church of Perry.The bride is the daughter ofMr. and Mrs. Elma Adams and theDamascus, Md.; and Mr. and Mrs. George Johnston of Sasser.The bride, a 1959 graduate of Perry High School, will be a senior this fall at The Woman’s College of Georgia in Milledgeville where she is a member of the Siggroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Boterweg Jr.Beautiful simplicity marked the sanctuary in which the vows were spoken before a background of palms with the focal point being an arch-shaped candelabrum with white lighted tapers flanked by two floor baskets of white gladioli and seven-branched candelabra holding burning tapers. #A program of nuptial music was rendered by Mrs. R. Hoke Smith, organist, who used Lohengrin’s Wedding March for the processional and Mendelssohn’s recessional. The soloist, Mrs. Paul Smith of Biloxi, Miss, sang “The Greatest of These is Love” and at the conclusion of the ceremony, “The Lord’s Prayer.”Double Ring Ceremonyma Alpha Iota Honorary Musicimpressively performed by the Rev. James M. Teresi, pastor of the church.Serving as the groom’s best man was Larry V. Brown. Usher-groomsmen were Tommy Waller of East Point, a college roommate of the groom, and Paul Smith of Biloxi, Miss., the groom’s brother-in-law.The brides only attendant was a college roommate, Miss Patricia Kitchens of Social Circle, who wore a street length dress of yellow silk organza over taffeta with a matching short yellow veil attached to a crown of pearls and carried a crescent bouquet of yellow centered white daisies.The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, A. J. Clark of Marietta, was lovely in a street length dress of white silk organza over taffeta with cap sleeves, featuring a high neckline and a bouffant skirt withthe deep hemline embossed with minute ruffles of silk organza and satin bows. She wore a culturedFraternity and a member of the A Capella Choir.The groom, a 1958 graduate of Perry High School and a June graduate of North Georgia College in Dahlonega, is a commissioned 2nd lieutenant in the U. S. Army and presently holds a position with the J. P. Stevens Woolen Mills inMilledgeville.On Frdiay evening the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Boterweg Jr., entertained at their home with a buffet dinner preceding the wedding rehearsal.Lovely summer flowers were used in the decorations throughout the home.Guests were the members of the wedding party, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Low and sons, Bob and Mike; Mrs. Edna Mitchell; Mrs.The double ring ceremony was Walter N. Brown and Mrs. Elma Adams.Miss Harper Wed To Mr. CorbettMiss Mary Ann Harper and Robert Campbell Corbett exchanged nuptial vows at 8 p. m. last Friday evening in the Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Fla.The Rev. Clyde B. Lipscomb officiated. Mrs. Sid Lewis, personal friend of the couple was soloist.Miss Harper is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Nick Harper and Mr. Corbett is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur O. Corbett Jr.Given in marriage by her father, the bride had as her matron of honor, Mrs. W. Taylor Moore III of Tallahassee Fla. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Kenneth Yetter Jr., sister of the bridegroom; Mrs. Fred Miller Jr.; Mrs. Jack Katterhenry,Mrs. Eleanor Belote and Miss Be-pearl pendant which was a gift li„da Smith of Springfield, Ohio.from the groom. Her short veil of illusion fell from a crown of seed pearls. She carried a white Bible, a gift of the groom, which was showered with a cascade of white gardenias and white satin ribbons.The mother of the bride wore a pastel blue lace-trimmed dacron and cotton dress with bone accessories and a corsage of pink carnations.The groom’s mother was attiredin a pastel green dacron dress withThe bridegroom’s father served as best man. Ushers were John Keyton, Lee Waits, Ernest Fisher, Jack Katterhenry and Andy Hunter, cousin of the bride.The bride chose a princess styled gown of silk organza andre-embroidered Alencon lace. Thebodice had a scoop neckline appliqued with the Alencon lace and cording at the dropped waistline. The controlled skirt was appliqued with Alencon motifs andwhite accessories and wore a pink carnation corsage.Immediately following the cere mony the bridal couple and their parents received in the vestibule of the church.Wedding Trip For the wedding trip the bride wore a beige sheath with matching short jacket and accessories and a white orchid corsage.The couple will make their home at 210 West Greene Street in Milledgeville.Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Clark, Mrs. Bill Bellfell into a voluminous chapeltrain accented by a double obi bow Her four tiered veil of illusion was attached to a tiara of seed pearls and Alencon lace, and she carried a cascade bouquet of stephanotis centered with two white orchids.The bridal attendants wore identical street length dresses of lilac silk organza over taffeta with scooped necklines and short sleeves. The silk organza overskirts were accented by a flat bow caught at the front of the waistline. They wore head pieces of lilac jtaffeta and illusion, and carriedand Suellen and i athy Bell of crescents of frenched pink carna-Eastman; Mr. A. J. Clark, Phillip and Betty Clark of Marietta; Miss Cornelia Clark of Hawkinsville; Mr. and Mrs. Sidney L. Smith and children, Nancy, Lanier and Charles, of Macon; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Johnston of Milledgeville; Mrs. Walter LeBeau of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Elbert Hawkins of Macon; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Low and sons, Bobby and Mike, oftions.Following the reception at the church, the newlyweds left on a trip to Nassau.
