Wynggrden-Bos Vows SpokenThe marriage of Miss Shirley Bos and Elvvood Wyngarden took place Tuesday, July 8, at 8 p.m. in First Reformed church of Zeeland. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Bos, East Main St., and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Wyngarden, 336 West Main St., all of Zeeland.The Rev. John den Ouden read the rites before a setting of summer flowers and candelabra against a background of ferns. Gladioli and bows marked the pews. Prelude music and the wedding marches were played by Miss Jane Vander Velde, who also accompanied by Miss Shirley Walters as she sang “Because,” “Through the Years” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of nylon tulle and lace featuring yards of tulle over the full bridal satin skirt and train in contrast with the fitted bodice of imported lace with tiny puffed lace sleeves, an illusion neckline and lace collar. Long lace gloves and a fingertip, veil of imported illusion fastened to a shirred lace cap completed her ensemble. She carried a colonial bouquet of white roses centered with a white orchid.Miss Wanda Wiersma attended the bride as maid of honor and Missea Judy and Lois Bos, the bride's sisters, were bridesmaids. (Prince photo)guests were Robert Wyngarden and Duane Hop* Mr. and Mrs. Willis Boss, uncle and aunt of the bride, as master and mistress of ceremonies, completed the wedding party.Bridal attendants w'ore gowns of blue, lavender and yellow', respectively. The bodices were of lace over taffeta with puffed sleeves and the ballerina skirts featured lace and net panels over taffeta. They wore matching mitts and caps of lace over taffeta trimmed with flow’ers. They carried colonial bouquets.The bride’s mother chose an aqua lacb dress, white accessories and a yellow rose corsage. The groom’s mother w'ore a beige-pink lace dress, white accessories and yellow' rose corsage.The reception for 100 guests was held at the church parlors. Miss Esther Kroodsma and Bernard Rat-erink served at the punch bow'l and Mr. and Mrs Gerald Raterink, assisted by Mrs. Robert Wyngarden, arranged the gifts. Misses Gertrude Kaper and Irene Van Hoven served as head waitresses, assisted by Misses Mary De Witt, Marion Gotz, Jeanne Streur, Sylvia Schipper, Eleanor De Kleine and Marion Brouwer.Out-of-tow'n guests were present from Holland. Grand Rapids. Kalamazoo, Hudsonville and Grand-ville.For their wedding trip to northern Michigan, the bride wore a pink shantung suit, white accessories and an orchid corsage.Both the bride and groom are graduates of Zeeland high school. The bride is employed in the office of Herman MiHer Co. and the groom, serving with the U. S. Navy, is stationed at the Great Lakes Naval Training center.Members of the wedding party were entertained at a rehearsal dinner given by the groom’s parents Monday evening at Bosch’s restaurant.
